Welcome to the National History Day New Mexico State Contest

Judge training starts at 8 am on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Judging starts at 9. Paper and website judges are expected to complete training in advance of the contest, but are encouraged to arrive before 9 in order to pick up clipboards and grab a quick breakfast.

We will be gathering in the History commons rooms of Mesa Vista Hall. We'll serve a light breakfast and lunch, courtesy of the UNM History Department. Please notify coordinator Ellen Dornan if you have special dietary needs.

Judges coming from out of town are eligible to be reimbursed for milage. Check with the coordinator for mileage reimbursement forms.

If you are judging websites or papers, you will receive the projects to judge in advance of the contest. Please complete your training online here. All judges are encouraged to review materials in advance of the contest.
